Room-book and 3D Room

Room-book is very special architectural element. The room can be though of as a special container that describes the space that is left over by its bounding elements as walls, slabs, roofs or other elements. In ARCHline.XP® rooms have 3D meaning because of additional information such as room norms, net, brut areas and volume, room types and the calculation of wall, floor, and ceiling surfaces. Based on this information ARCHline.XP® automatically calculates the room finishes, visualize them in 3D and generates quantity-take-off. You can build up your sets that keep all information of a living room, kitchen, bath, and so on. In ARCHline.XP® the connectivity is perfect. This means that you change for example the parquet to tiling in the office set and all of your office type room-book automatically updated and you can control immediately the cost difference!

The results of the application of room book appear:

on the floor plan as the sizing of the room,

on the photorealistic view with the wainscots,

on the sectional view by representing the wainscoting layers, and

in the cost estimation reports with the used amount of wainscoting material, and also the assigned material and labour costs, if required.

As it is well known, wainscotings take 30-40% of the building costs. By this effective method you can quickly create coverings and cost calculations.
